Love those grandkids

Husband and I made a trip yesterday to visit with darling daughter and the grandkids. We had a great day and I just wanted to share a couple of snaps to show you their smiling faces.

Dancer Girl and Little Sister took a ride around the yard before the rain started. Dancer Girl is driving her Princess Car back to the carport inbetween raindrops.

Little Sister will turn two years old in about a month. She's so grown up and is talking up a storm.

Since we were unable to be with the girls on Valentine's Day because of a snowstorm, we were able to celebrate yesterday instead. They didn't seem to mind. Chocolate is chocolate no matter what day it's delivered with love.

We cherish those moments we get to spend with the girls. They are growing so fast and are losing their babyish mannerisms. Right now they love us unconditionally. We hope it will be a very long time before they will be too grown up to want to spend time with their grandparents.

Those girls have such luminous eyes! They must bring you so much joy.

Motherkitty, THANK YOU also for the comment you wrote on my last post. I'm glad you enjoy what I write. I consider myself lucky to be able to get to know you through blogging, and you are one of my dearest blog-friends :)

They are growing up so fast and they each have their own special look.

Jelly, I'm still wiping the tears from my eyes. And, Sandy and Susan, what joy you all bring me. I think my life was so barren before my daughter and husband encouraged me to reach out and start writing what was in my head and heart. Who could have imagined all the wonderful and interesting people all over the world that we have "met" and connected to?

A comment from someone and I'm floating all day. Who doesn't love that feeling? I appreciate how well so many people are able to express themselves (even those who are unable to spell well) and I love their stories. It's like being a part of their lives. There's millions of bloggers (and their stories) out in the ethernet,0 and aren't we lucky to have found each other?

Thank you, dear friends, for accepting me and for taking the time to read and comment.

BTW, I wish you could meet my grandkids. They are so very sweet -- not only in nature, but also sweet-smelling as only innocent little kids can be. Thank goodness for digital photography to get the pictures out there fast.

What cute little girls! You are very blessed, MotherK. Take LOTS of photos. Ah, yes, the joy of digital photography. I carry my easyshare picture viewer around with me now instead of a photobook. It is a cool way to show off my photos.

Such beautiful little girls! Grandchildren are truly a precious gift. So glad you had an opportunity to enjoy your girls.
I popped in from Jelly's after reading your comments over there. Enjoyed reading your blog. Love the 'Jeopardy' questions and the snowmen cartoons.
Poor old 'Tom'! Well, he'll probably be a better cat for it in the end :)
