To all the fathers out in blogland . . .

Sunday, June 18, 2006

You dads have a place all your own in our hearts. There is nothing like a dad to make us feel special. On this day we honor you for the many good things you do.

For those dads who are no longer with us, we remember you with kind and happy thoughts. For those dads who are still around, we will fire up the grill and invite you for a swim. You won't have to lift a finger on this day. We will make sure you know you are loved and are surrounded by those who love you.

So, fellas, have a Happy Father's Day this Sunday.

Took mine for a fancy brunch after church and we just looked at the fine hotel pool, yearning for next spring when we will have our own! Hope you all had a fun day!

Thanks for the post. I still feel like I should be buying a card for my Dad though he has been gone from us for five years now. I am finding out there are a lot more good fathers out there then I thought before.

Well said. I'd like to add to those moms who have been doing it alone, Happy Father's Day to you too!
(Not all fathers are daddys afterall - or is it the other way around?)

Mom has had a hard week and is not feeling well, so your prayers and good thoughts would be appreciated. It is nothing major, so nobody freak out. I have been talking to her on the phone, and she is just really tired. She will have to forgive me for telling everyone. :)

Glad I popped in here today, Motherkitty.
We've all missed you and I'm so sorry to hear you haven't been feeling well.
(Your daughter knows we care)
:-)
Please take care of yourself and know that we're praying for you to feel better very soon....
((hugs))
