Sometimes words become too much and people might say things they regret later on. So, the best policy for now is, shhhhhh, silence.

i totally agree, sometimes words are unnecessary or said at the wrong time......sometimes if you don't know what to say or think you may say something you regret, you are right, just stay silent
Silence is Golden...but for many of us we fear silence...for some reason we figure there should always be something going on around us. Yes let there be silence if only for a moment.....

I love it when things are quiet... With kids it doesnt last long LOL!
um, why are we all whispering? are you OK motherkitty? are you really, really mad at someone and so have taken a vow of silence to stop yourself from yelling at them?
Maybe I should stop talking and just be *silent*, as advised.
