Birthday girl scores big at party

We returned home late this afternoon, exhausted but thrilled with our wonderful weekend. Dancer girl's birthday party was a total success. Darling daughter worked so hard getting everything ready and all the kids who attended had a great time.

Oh those are beautiful pictures motherkitty. Your granddaughter's are so precious. Did you ever think being a grandma would be so wonderful?

Oh...those pictures are precious. Love the group picture too and how on earth did you manage to get them all to stay in one place long enough to get that lovely picture? *S*

We had BLT's and they were soooooo gooood.

we got them all on the couch by telling them we were going to do the pinata next! Some of the people with cameras snapped a couple of pictures while they were waiting for pinata instructions. It also helped that I made them say, "Banana Pants!" We ended up having to look for something and wait a couple of minutes, and I had all the girls raise their hands to tell a joke. Now that was funny. I haven't watched the video yet, but I am sure it was a hoot!

Looks like the party was a great success. We have to travel quite the distance to see our granddaughters, as I think you said you do.
Our two granddaughters are 4 and nearly 8. Time flies....

The girls look very cute, they are so happy at the party. I'm sure it was a huge day for them. What fun to be able to share those birthdays. I'm glad you had such a good time. Jane once gave me a refrigerator magnet: Grandchildren are your reward for not killing your teenagers. Isn't that the truth!

Isn't it great fun to be invited to a party instead of having to organize it? This grandparent stuff is great! Beautiful girls!

Looks like everyone had a ton of fun!

In your comment on my blog, you said you live near Paducah? You're not far from me at all...

That makes you the first blogger I've "met" that lives anywhere close at all. Cool!
