The "art" of relaxation
Thank you Susie, Susan, Sandy (how's that for alliteration?), Cristal, Cheyenne, and Alissa for your encouragement and kind words. Miss Susie, especially, you are such a dear heart. I'm sending you a huge Motherkitty hug for what you've done.
One thing I've learned is when you're down, if you're blogging, you're not out. All you have to do is reach out a hand and a warm hand of friendship will be extended.
What more can a person expect?

Two posts in a day? THAT'S the way to get back into the swing of things! And a nice day it's shaping up to be for the Derby!
You'd have heard from Mom, too, but she's been a little busy lately--my dad is having some more issues and is back in the hospital. Hopefully he'll be headed home in a few days...
I'm so glad you got this! Hope it brightened your day. You always brighten mine with your sweet words of encouragement!
love and ((hugs))
Yes, friends make everything worthwhile, and make all our sadnesses bearable.
It sounds like Susie has gone out of her way to cheer you...hooray for Susie!
Hi.
Just dropped in to say hello and hope this visit finds you well.
hope you have a good sunday....
after lunch we are heading out to go look at new carseats/strollers for baby boy, probably at toysrus....call me if you need me
hello it's me again.....you are right about the blog world friendship....I have met some wonderful people through the blog and you most certainly are one of them....I would have been so sad if you closed your blog...so I am very happy that you didn't....you don't have to post all of the time...just every now and then to let us know what you are up to...and that life is treating you well....that is what I hope and wish for you....and a new healthy grandson.....I love those pictures of your daughter and grand-daughters...they are just so lovely....you daughter looks radiant.....cheers and great big hugs being sent your way!
Hi.
Great pics of you feathered visitor
hope you had a nice Mother's Day.
Looks like both of us are getting back to blogging after an absence. I hope all is well with you now. Your birds are beautiful--we have recently become interested in watching and feeding the birds, too. Yesterday I saw an indigo bunting in the bush outside the window. Like you, our cat likes to bring us the occasional "gift." I try to hang the birdfeeders out of his reach, but he can find the birds anyway!
